Ron Artest from the Lakers decided to legally change his name to "Metta World Peace". His reasoning behind the new name was to move ahead and bring positive energy. His new first name Metta means friendly, togetherness and kindness. Wow couldn't he just take up yoga or something?

D'banj is one of the hottest rappers from Nigeria right now and has a new single entitled "Tongolo". Dumbest trend ever, #Planking!

WTF?? Wow so this is the new ish we're on in 2011...Planking? The new internet craze called planking is when people lie face down in unusual places then upload the pics to facebook and twitter. This new trending topic is actually a potentially fatal one. Last month a young man fell to his death while trying to "plank" himself by laying across the balcony railing of a hotel in Brisbane, Queensland. Supposedly "planking" is a racist term derived from the African slave trade when shippers stacked slaves on planks on the ship. Get a life people and go find a new hobby!

Drake actually looks put together for once black on black with some bumblebee dressshoes and he's rocking a nice tan!

Wiz Kalifah and Amber Rose make their entrance all booed up, not a fan of all the p.d.a we get the damn point you two are an item. They both looked ghetto fabulous with outfits better suited for a summer BBQ then an award show.

Stripper turned model turned rapper Ethiopian chick, lola love a.k.a angel a.k.a lola monroe rocked a sick geometric patterned dress. Not sure about her but I must give her credit she can dress!

BET host Rocsi rocked her version of a next to naked outfit. In my opinion she looked like a knockoff of tinker-bell, not a fan.

Kelly Rowland looked classy in a bright fushia ruffle dress maybe a little too much ruffle but the girl looked good none the less.
